Is Calamine Recommended To Treat Rashes On The Skin Of A Child?

hi, my baby is 20 months old. She got rash on her cheeks ,i have applied calamine lotion on those rashes one day back. Now, in that particular area there is a colour change on her cheeks, will it disappear gradually? or else i have to consult a doctor regarding this. Please give your valuable suggestions. Thank You.
