dear healthcare magic user, i want to point out that augmentin should always be and the first medication to be started in infants in case of infections, because majority will get better by that drug which has a good safety profile in babies. your doctor changed to cepodem which is a wise choice but it is causing loose motions. not to worry add sporolac satchet one mixed with half glass off juice or any liquid and give plenty of fluids.add this treatment till antibiotics are continued.he will recover soon.give him good diet.
on Safe side if fever still doesnt come down then get these tests done
1.complete blood picture
2.chest x ray
3.complete urine examination
4.blood culture
