Is Cerelac Along With Breast Milk Advisable For An Infant?

Good morning sir, i am Dr.Priyanka Swarnkar. . my baby boy is 4 month 22 dyas old. I want to know can i feed daal ka paani and cerelac once a day to my baby. as after my feed he remains hungry and demand for milk in about an hour only. please suggest me what should i do. and how many times i can give them.

Dear,
As per the medical norms nothing should be given to infants except breast milk ipto 5 mnths...not even the water biut since now adays we start weaning at 4 months extra foos can be given..regarding cerelac IT DO NOT HAVE ANY ADDED ADVANTAGE rather other medical supplements prescribed by pediatrician like NAN 1 or other like that are more helpful.
U can also have home made weaning food like mashed potato and few rice or like that.
So I would suggest you not ron give cerelac atleast before 6 montgs.
