Is Ciproflaxin Right Medication For Blood And White Blood Cells In Urine?

Hi. I have had burning but not necessarily when I urinate it s constant burning down there and I do have to urinate a lot. I went to doc and they tested it quickly with a swab and it says there wasa trace of blood and white blood cells in urine so I am taking ciproflaxin. But now I feel like my legs and feet are burning but my temp is only 99. Does this sound like the bacterial infection spread? I m so nervous. Please help me with some answers. Thank you, Michele

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Taking count of the symptoms you are having and to the swap results you are having urinary tract infection. Ciprofloxacine is preferable to be used as first line treatment for UTI. You have to use it and will have good results.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
