Is Claritin Advisable For Runny Nose?

My husband has a runny nose possibly due to spring allergy. Can he take Claritin for a few days as the histamine blocker in it may help. He he has type2 diabetes (numbers 120 range) and hbp which is quite normal with meds? Shall we consult with our primary on this?

Hi,

Clarifies a good combination of anti allergic decongestant medicines to treat allergic cold, It can be taken in type 2 diabetes safely. Along with the drug, he has to take rest, avoid known allergens. Inhalation helps in blocked nostrils due to cold.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
