Is Clindamycin Suggested For Compound Fracture?

hello, my little brother, 26y/o, has recently had a compound fracture in his second toe, and he had surgery for a major infection in the bone and had a pin placed. he is currently on Clindamycin 300mg every 6 hours and has missed a few doses. Idk the genus and species of the bacteria in the bone. Since he has missed the doses, what should he do next?
