Is Clomiphene An Effective Medicine For PCOS?

I M having PCOS...n m on clomifene treatment...I hv taken clomifene for 2cycles....last mnth I tried spontaneously n during this clomifene cycle...I found dese findings ....RO 16×16,. LO - MSF...N doctor suggested me to undergo IUI now....but I wanna try spontaneously atleast for 6 months.....but doctor told me that I cant tak more than 3 cycles of clomifene.....so plz guide me by giving proper advice....
