Is Cortisone Injection Or Colchicine Safer For Renal Impairment?

I am a 56 year old female and have Stage 3 Kidney Disease and accordingly, elevated uric acid levels @ 490. GFR of 38. Would a cortisone injection be safer than Colchicine for those with renal impairment? Or should I try half a 0.6mg Colchicine/day?
