Hi,

Potential adverse effects from the long-term use of skeletal muscle relaxants include sedation, addictive potential, and hepatotoxicity. Additionally, clinical studies demonstrate the efficacy of skeletal muscle relaxers for up to 14 days after symptom onset, and the evidence for long-term use is lacking. Visit your clinician for further discussion.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
