Is Cymbalta 80 Mg Right For Low Thyroid?

I do not know where to begin. I am asking a question for my daughter who was prescribed 80 mg of Cymbalta. She has low thyroid and has had her thyroid zapped two different times. So from here blood tests that were done recently, they took her off Levoxin from.88 to 2.5. She does deal with depression and I just wonder if this Cymbalta is the right thing for her to take, especially 80 mg. She is suppose to take one the Cymbalta one in the morning and one in the evening. I just have concerns about the Cymbalta.

HI
That's a very high dose of Cymbalta and I would consider switching her to Zoloft or Effexor if it isn't effective
