Is Cytotec Effective In Stopping Continuous Bleeding After Abortion?

Hi my last period date was 5th oct 2013, in nov i didnt get down. i checked pregnancy test it was positive. Then i took MT Pill on 19th nov suggested by gynecologist. Then for 20 days there was heavily bleeding. then for some days it was low. and then after 5-8 days it started again. I again consulted the doctor she gave me krimson tables for 21 days. then bleeding became slow but didnt stopped completely. Now today she gave me cytology. I am afraid is it works or should i take cleaning?please suggest me. I am totaly fradup now and confused also.

Better to take cleaning by D & C.
Normally bleeding will stops with in 4-6 days after using abortion pills.
You had to consult the gynecologist after 14 days to confirm incomplete abortion by USG scan. If you did, there was no such complication.
So many days continue bleeding after abortion is not normal, you should consult the gynecologist and must under go USG scan to confirm exact scenario.
Following are cause of your problem: Incomplete abortion, ectopic, pregnancy, pelvic infection, choriocarcinoma.
Infection treated by antibiotics and all other cause require surgery.
So most likely in you case is incomplete abortion and it should be treated by D & C by experienced gynecologist under septic condition.
Avoid to take cytotec as it cause further bleeding and chance of failure.
