Is Defcort Advisable To A Child With Nephrotic Syndrome?

Sir, my child aged at present 2 years 10 months and she suffering from Nefrotic Syndrome from last 7 months. Nefrologist gave medicine of wysolene 20 mg per day and reduced gradually by 15mg, 10mg, 5mg. It reduced to 5mg again she is suffering with the above disease and she is swelling. As a 2nd opinion, I went to consult another nefrologist, he advised her to change the medicine i.e. to take defcort 30mg per day. Is this useful and no side effect. Let me know is this a dangerous disease or any harmful to my daughter.
