Is Derifil Tablet Effective In Managing Odor After Colostomy?

my mother has a colostomy and is embarrassed by the odor. is there a medication she can take to control the odor internally? I have only found an herbal supplement, Derifil, and am not sure if this is safe since it is not approved by the FDA. She also uses insulin

This is safe but this will not help with odour. It is much better to find adequate colostomy bags for such purposes.
