Is Deriphylline Effective For Suffocating Cough With Wheezing?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Have had dry cough for about 10 days. Westher is getting colder by the day and it appears to have affected the bronchial tubes with loud wheezing all night and suffocative attacks of cough sometimes ending in gagging. Regular doctors are on holiday for the season and I would welcome advice regarding taking deriphylline for a couple of days till my regular doc returns. I also have diabetes (mild) take Glucoryl 2 mg, Aciloc for acid reflux and 150 mg Eltroxin for thyroid.
