Is Deviry 10mg Safe For 8 Year Old Girl?

hi,I have an 8 yr old daughter and there are signs of early puberty.The doctor has prescribed deviry 10mg for 2 months along with some injections that she has to take till she reaches puberty [12-13yrs].Now i am confused as to the medicine since she is too young for that.
