Is Dexolac Special Care Safe For An Infant?

Hi Doctor am giving dexolac premium for my 2 months baby. He had dexolac special care for the first 2 months he is having breast feeding as well. Is it healthy for infant ..? Also if he had breast feeding he is feeling hungry very often so I need to feed him every one hour so I had to switch to the supplementary milk.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Dexolac special care is a special formula designed for premature babies. You should give baby formula each time he feels the need. Do not worry. He is growing up and needs more nutrients and energy.

Next time you see his pediatrician, ask to check his thyroids, and blood sugar levels and a complete blood count. Just to check out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
