Is Diclofenac Advisable For Severe Pain In Back?

Hi. I m currently in Greece but have had very bad back pain since this morning. & due to fly home in 4 hours. I ve been taking ibuprofen every 4 hours but was given diclofenac & took 100mg at 2pm. I know you re not supposed to take them when not being prescribed the tablets but I m in lots of pain. I just wanted to know if this is safe and how many I can take as I m coming up to 8 hours since taking.
