Is Doxycycline Effective To Treat Acne And Chlamydia Infection?

I was recently diagnosed with chlamydia and was given azithromycin 500mg in 2 tablets. I believe i was re-exposed to the infection a week after treatment. 3 days later i went to the dermatologist and was given doxycycline hyalite 100mg a day for acne but took 2 100 mg a day to try and treat chlamydia if i was re-exposed. can the doxycycline treat acne and chlamydia at the same time

Hello...
Yes, Doxycycline is a drug of choice for Atypical infections. So it can be used in the treatment of Chlamydia infection. On the other hand, Doxycycline is also used to treat Acne.
So you can take this drug which is effective in both Chlamydia and ACNE.
