Is Duphaston Advisable For Brown Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?

hI,

I Am 6 Weeks Pregnant Now. Had A Brownish Discharge 3-4 Times Last Day And It Discontinued After That. Consulted my doctor and she has prescribed the tablet "Duphastone" 2 times a day. Is it really required? Will it have any side effects on the fetus. I had TVS after the discharge and everything seems to be Okay. Should I take that tablet?

Hi I think you should take duphaston. It is a progesterone which supports implantation and prevents miscarriages. So, it will be helpful in your case. You can take it twice a day till 12 weeks of pregnancy. Hope it helps.
