Is Dyfucan Effective In Treating Vaginal Infection?

I took dyfucan tablet to treat infection first because I thought infection could cause irregular mensutral cycle, after I finish that one, I took gynaecosid tablet for my irregular mensutration. Later on I started my period on the 17th of oct 2014. Now we are in 25th of nov; have not seeing my period , though a pharmactist periscribed clomid tablet, and Vitamin e, and pregnant care tablet . Am 36yrs been married for 3yrs but baby and I want to have my own children pls. Have been battling with this irregular cycle from my teen! Have been to several hospital but no result yet.

Hi
Diflucan is very effective in treating fungal infection. But you should know that infection has no effect on your menstrual cycles. It does not cause irregular cycles.
What is your BMI? The irregular cycles you are having suggest that you are not having regular ovulation. I advise that you and your husband/partner should first register for treatment with subfertility specialist. You should not consult pharmacist for this. What investigations you have done so far?
You need to do hormone test including thyroid function tests and Fallopian tube patency test. Your husband should do semen analysis. Based on the results of investigations treatment can be given.

Take one tablet of folic acid daily.
To increases your chances of pregnancy, maintain normal BMI, quit smoking ( if you are a smoker) and have intercourse atleast three times in a week.
