Is E Coli Skin Rash A Contagious Disease?

Hi I am a hairdresser in a Retirement Community. One of my clients yesterday received letter from a test result. She mentioned it said something to the effect she has E Coli skin rash. She wanted me to read the letter as she didn t understand but her care taker put the letter away and said they would talk about it later. I was just wondering is that a contagious skin rash??
