Is Evion 600 Effective In In Bringing Up HDL Level?

My HDL has come down to 12 only. A friend has suggested Evion 600 one tablet daily for a month. he had same problem and his HDL increased to 38 (from 15) in a month. I am taking Lipiget 20 daily also and all my lipids are abnormally low. Can I take Evion 600 daily? Age = 50, height 5'5". weight = 68kg. Had angioplasty in oct 2010, 2 stents. History always low lipids, no heart prob family history, no smoking

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You can take any statin group of drug like atorvastatin or pravastatin to control your cholesterol level.You should take low fat diet with high amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids and high fiber diet.
Low HDL is a risk factor for coronary heart disease. So you should take treatment regularly.
