Is Fefol-Z The Right Dosage For Deficiency Of Haemoglobin?
Hello Sir, I have low haemoglobin count (10.2) , ESR : 24 , signs of Anisocytosis in smear test and consequent hairfall. Have been prescribed fefol-z, dosage = 1 in the morning. 24 years, female. Is that the right dosage or should i increase it ? Will it help with the hairfall. Thanks,
Yes, it is the right dose for your hemoglobin level. Hemoglobin level you seem to be suffering from mild anemia for which your doctor has prescribed Fefol-Z once daily in the morning. In addition to iron and folic acid, Fefol-Z capsule also contains Zinc sulphate which will help in preventing the hair fall.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
