Is Folitrax 50mg Injection Safe For Psoriasis?

Hi doctors Good morning I m Yogender I m suffering from psoriasis last 22 years back I do lots of treatment but every time unsuccessful, now somebody told me use an injection FOLITRAX 50 ( methotrexate). sir please confirm me is there any side effect of this injection or should I use this injection for psoriasis. Thank you

Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition and it is treated with methotrexate along with some other medicines but only with a doctor’s advice. It is never advisable to change the dosage of medicine without consulting your doctor.

As there are adverse effect of each drug, depending on patient’s condition the dosage is adjusted by the physician. So sudden increase or decrease in the dose might result in unwanted bad effects on different vital organs in the body. My advise to you is, do not increase the dose without consulting your doctor.
