General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per the details of reports, there is no thyroid disturbances or other
obvious cause of hair loss; in which instance, zinc, vitamin E deficiency, stress, chronic fungal infection of the scalp are other possibilities for differential diagnosis.

My guidelines at present

- control of dandruff if present

- avoid commercial dye or artificial colors if used

- avoid stress, anxiety

- balanced nutritious diet

- intake of multivitamin with antioxidants, minerals, zinc, vitamin E on regular basis

- protein shampoo for hair wash

- local application of Minoxidil acid (5 %) after discussion with your treating dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
