Is Formonide Advisable For Chronic Bronchitis?

Hello Doc, My question is that i am facing bronchitis problem since my birth but in recent 6 months doctor prescribed me formonide 400 sir when in earlier consultation some docs provide me the medicine which reduced my cough totally but dr. gupta provide only formonide 400 to me so it is when required offcouse as in winter season sep to feb so i takes it only 1 capsules after gapping of 3 days. so please answer me it is harmful to take formonide or the medicine which reduces cough that a better way please consult because formonide is little better one because it open the pulse of breath only for a day after that in another day the same problem occurs soon.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if you do have breathing difficulty like asthma, breathlessness then you can try the inhaler and it may not have any side effect as it is with the oral steroid, if is the allergic condition then oral steroid can be used better to have a word with doctor hope this information helps.
