A sting or bite of insect injects venom composed of proteins and other substances that may trigger an allergic reaction. The sting also causes redness and swelling at the site of the sting. 1. Cold fomentation with ice pack 5 – 6 times daily 2. Stop applying Fucidin cream 3. Amoxicillin 500 mg per oarl thrice daily for 5 days if wound is infected and if you are able to see yellow pus 4. Do not scratch the area as it will cause skin damage and infection 5. You can apply calamine lotion for itching 6. Levocetrizine 5 mg per oral once daily for 5 days 7. Dexamethasone 0.5 mg twice daily per oral for 7 days 8. Ibuprofen 600 mg thrice daily if pain occurs. Otherwise avoid it Thanks
