Is Gabapentin Safe For Pain Due To Osteoarthritis?

I am a 95 year old female with osteo arthritis, as of a year ago. Tylenol and tramadol keep me pain free during the day and I use Gabapentin at night--300 MG capsule at night for pain. What side effects should I watch for--so far (1 week) I havae not experienced any, as far as I know. Thanks.
