Is HCG Safe To Take With Pregika-200 During Pregnancy?
My wife is pregnent for last 10 weeks. the details are hereunder
1. The last menstruation cycle was on 26th May’2011
2. The pregnancy test was conducted on 05th july’11 which shows positive result
3. Consulted Dr Pamela Chatterjee on 07thjuly’11, she has recommended taking folic acid tablets which she is still continuing
4. On 08th July’11, Gayatri felt some brown spotting & Doctor has been consulted. Showing some concern , she has given a HCG ( 5000 LU injection & consulted for giving 2 more injection in each alternate day. after that she advices to take one injection of HCG(5000 L U ) every week till 16th week.
5. In the mean time she has recommended to take Pregika 200 tablets ( 2 tablets per day ) which she is still continuing
6. After 08th July’11. She has never seen any brown spotting but there is some tiny light yellow discharges discontinuously.
7. Have again consulted Doctor over which she says , these are normal symptoms of pregnancy . currently she is taking one tab of folic acid & 2 tabs of Pregika 200 in daily basis. & taking complete rest.
8. currently she has only small white discharges ( No brown or other colour discharge). today she has taken a titanus injection .
Please advice whether it is safe / need to continue the HCG injection along with pregika -200
