Is HIV Transmission Possible Through Non Penetrative Sex?

I am a 19 year old female overall healthy from southern wisconsin. But recently I have had an incident with rape. The guy was an ex of mine from a long time ago. I do not know his history after me and him dated. He was smoking marijuana but I do not know of any other drugs. Any way. What happened was he forced me, but it was not full intercourse. The tip of his penis barely was inserted before I was able to push and fight back and get away. I was just curious what is the chance of getting an HIV/AIDS infection from this incident? I have gotten tested for things like chylmidia, gonnerhea, etc. And those were all negative. My primary doctor wants me to wait till febuary to test my blood (this happened mid-august. Right before this incident occurred I had my blood tested which it was negative) right now I am unable to sleep because I am beyond worried for myself. Just want to know what the likiness would be that I couldve contracted hiv?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Mere contact of tip of the penis with your vagina might not have a possible chance to contact with HIV. However, if there was contact of secretion in any form from his penis like pre-ejaculatory fluid with your vaginal mucosa would certainly stand chance to contact with HIV infection.
Since it takes some time for infection to get reflected when tested, you need to wait for the period as your doctor has suggested and then get tested to make sure you are negative for HIV.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
