Is Halcion Advisable For Pain Management In A Anxiety Suffering Person?

Hello I am 43 years old and have been taking Xanax since I was 19 I suffer from SEVERE PANIC ATTACKS, AGORAPHOBIA AND GAD I am currently on 4 2mg tablets a day and that is not helping anymore but I am scared to death to tell my pain management doctor for fear that he will take them away from me. I cant imagine being without them. I have been stretches withouth them for a few months but u cvouldnt wait to get a tablet in my mouth. what do you think about this situation.would versed or halcion be a better choice I also take 4 30mg oxycodone and 3 10 mg Norco a day. what is your advice. major pain problems. ruptured discs in back

Hi,

Halcion is having Triazolam. It is benzodiazepine group of drug. It acts on brain. It actually suppresses the pain centre. So it is a good drug for pain management.

If you are taking Triazolam then no need to take Xanax because Triazolam also serves the purpose of Xanax (anxiolytic). So in my opinion, you should definitely start Triazolam.
