Is IUD Or Contraceptive Injection Better For Birth Control?

I wish to know what method of BC will best suit my situation. I recently had a baby less than a month ago. She is my 4th child. My first 2 are only 1.5 yrs apart and my 3rd and 4th children r the same age difference. I have had a total of 5 pregnancies (4 kids and 1 miscarriage) in the 9 years that I have been married. The Dr has said that I may be too fertile And suggested the coil as a contraception but I am considering the Injections. Which form of BC is most effective in my case? I am not Interested in the pills. Thank u please advise.

Hi,

I suggest you to go with IUD as it is more suitable for long term use.

You can consult a gynecologist and plan for IUD like Mirena or other hormonal IUDs.
