Is IUD The Right Contraception Since I Am Not Getting My Menstrual Cycle Since Three Months?

helo maam ive been using an IUD for 9 months, i am very confused because others told that when using an IUD, it is very often that your menstrual flow will be more likely fast that you are expecting... but in the others side, it turns out opposite than i expected, i dont have my menstration for 3 months..?why?

~should i use another birth control on this?better to remove this and use pills for safety? what should i do? please help me for this..

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Different individuals respond differently, but as you have not had a period since the insertion of the IUD, I would certainly advise you to visit your prescribing doctor who would either remove the IUD or prescribe medication for a withdrawal bleed.
