Is IVF Procedure Done While On Periods?
Hi. Was wondering if I will have to wait to start my period before proceeding with the IVF cycle. I had my baseline ultrasound this week but was told I needed to take birth control for another days since my doctor will not be available for my projected retrieval. Should I expect to wait for my period before starting or will I be able to start then? Thank you.

Hi, I think you can start taking birth control pills now also. There is no need to waolit for your periods. You can take pills till you don't want your periods. You might have been told the number of days to take the pills. When you will stop the pills, you will get your periods and then you can go for a baseline scan on day 2 or 3.
