Is Ibugesic Safe For Infants?

Is Ibugesic / Novamox safe for infants? Hi. My son is 1.5years old. He had fever and cold 2 weeks back . Had crocin for 4 days and was fine. Again after few days he got high fever upto 102. My doctor has suggested to give his crocin followed by Ibugesic if fever continues to stay even after 1 hour of crocin. Even suggested NovaMox. But now my son has rashes and itching all over his body and now for his itching doctor has given Syo Atarax. I am worried if these medicines are right and safe to have. Plz advice

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, all these drugs, crocin, ibugesic, novomax and Atarax are safe in the children.
Possibility of viral infection related fever is more likely.
Viral infection can also cause rashes on skin.
All these drugs are appropriate, so no need to worry much.
Usual time for recovery in viral infection is 7-10 days.
So continue these drugs, give him plenty of fluids orally and he will be alright in 7-10 days.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your son. Thanks.
