Is Isosorbide Dinitrate Effective In The Treatment Of Heart Disease?

Hello, my husband had a heart attack a month ago, and had two stents put in .This week he was not feeling well and we went back to emergency room. After a nuclear stress test they found that one part of his heart is not getting good blood flow. They now added Isosorbide Dimitrate. Does this medicine usually help. He is also quite tired. He is also taking Metroprolol Succinate, Plavix and Lipitor, which I think would also make him tired..

I would like to tell you that chest discomfort he has , is a form of Angina in which some portion of heart is not getting proper blood supply and is causing dull aching pain in chest. Isosorbide Dinitrate an vasodilating agent which improves coronary collateral circulation. It is going to benefit your husband for chest discomfort and it doesn't have any drug interaction with his current medications.
