Is Levofloxacin Safe To Take While Having Osteoporosis?

when I get broncites my doc always give me cipro and it helps. this new doctor seems to think that I should take levofloxacin. I smoke and catch this infection from my grandkids, never fails, if any of them have a running nose and cough. this medicine worries me because of the joints affect. I have osteoporosis. is it almost same as Cipro?

Hi there.. Yes ofloxacin is same like ciprofloxacin as both have same mechanism of action with same metabolism... So it's fine if you take levoflox or ciproflox.. I hope it solved your query.
