Is Lorcet Recommended In Case Of Broken Foot?

i have broken my foot. Went to ER last night and was sent home with a prescription for Lorcet. Have some leftover Darvocet from a previous injury. Pharmacy is closed so I was wondering if I can take the Darvocet now until it is open? What is the difference betweent the 2 drugs?
