Is MRI Essential For Diagnosing Autoimmune Disease?

Well for two yrs many doctors and no finitived answer, Im told an autoammunine disease. First lupus,then fibromyligia. Exhausted all avenues, but one a mri. I believe I should have one soon. In reading the ten signs of ms i have 9 out of tenl tenth being slurred sp=ech, not yet. How do I convience my doctor that the mri is really needed. Im sick and tired of being sick. My husband has seen many of the symptoms I go thru which exhaust me and then I need to lay down and sleep. I wish they would just listen to me. Please helpful
