Is Magnesium Sulphate Paste Advisable In Treating Bartholin Cyst?

Hi. I have my first bartholin cyst and I am taking antibiotics. I have been using a heating pad and taking Epson salt baths. Nothing is changing. I just made some magnesium sulfate paste with some Epson salt. Is it OK to apply that down there near the opening and leave it over night? I don t want to do anything stupid and cause more irritation, but I want this thing gone!!

Hi and welcome.
It can be applied, however,it won't be efficient since the his is deep infection of gland and local ointment won't be effective. It should be treated with incision and drainage of abscess. Wish you good health. Regards
