Is Marvelon And Microgynon 30 Same Medicine?

hello, I was just wondering if Marvelon and Microgynon 30 are the same? I have switched from Marvelon to Microgynon 30 as Marvelon is no longer available in the UK. However, when switching to it, I had the reglar 7 day break and started taking Microgynon on the 8th day..is that ok? thx
