Is Marvelon The Right Medicine To Prevent Pregnancy Post Unprotected Sex?

Hello today i had an unprotected sex ( condom was tore) with my wife and yesterday it was the last day of her period i went to buy bella or somthing simillar but i could not find so i contact my doctor in my country he said buy marvellon and she should take 2 capsuls only. My wife period is not regular some times 2 months and sometimes 28 +- 2 days please advice

I really appreciate your concern. Marvelon can be used as post coital contraception. Recommended dosage should be taken to have effective contraception. It should be taken as 4 tablets stat within 72 hours of pregnancy and another 4 tablets after 12 hours of first dose.

If you haven't follow this schedule then have check for pregnancy using UPT kit available in market. If it comes positive then you have abort the fetus if you want to.
