Is Meprate Advisable For Delayed Periods?

I supposed to get my menses on the 30th of june But still havent get. I am 21 and unmarried. 2 years back my I had irregular periods issues and found out that I have diabetes. Then my endoricology pescribed mepraye to get my menses. Shall I take that meprate if still my menses is delayed ?
