General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Meprate is a female hormonal preparation and can be used for postponement of periods provided you are not pregnant/no possibility of pregnancy or breastfeeding. The period mostly starts anytime within 8-10 days after taking the last pill of the course.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
