Is Meprate Only Solution For Vaginal Bleeding After Abortion?

hey!!!hello doc!! i got my abortion done on 6th of this month..and have been bleeding continuously..not heavy bleeding..a drop or two in a day..my doctor has prescribed me to have meprate foe 15 days..10 mg once daily..is it advisable???wen will i get my periods next??and wat does meprate do exactly???..thank u!!!
