Is Mesporin Injection With Antibiotics Right Medication For CRP In A Toddler?

Hello Doctor...my daughter is 1.3 years and she has been going to a babysitting since last november end. Ever since she is down with fever, chest congestion, runny nose,nasal congestion,cough. Shes completed a dose of antibiotic(ezythromycin), taking adol, lorine, bronchodialator and pulmicort nebulization..wherefore she got some temperory relief..blood test revealed that she is +ve to CRP.hence doctor has recommended Mesporin injection for 3 days and continue with other medications. Do you think that is right prescription?

Elevated CRP level is found in condition like infection, injury or inflammation. So in yr case this must be like because of infection. And where there is infection some inflamation comes along with. This inflammation takes time to clear. Till that time CRP value is remain elevated. But it shoud decrese gradually. If CRP level is decresing that u need not to worry. And go with our doctor and complet the whole prescribe schedule.
