Is Metronidazole Advisable For Thick White Odorous Vaginal Discharge?

This past November I got bacterial vagnosis. Treated Dec 3, 2015 with Flagyl. 2 weeks later the symptoms came back, went to the ER and was treated again with a different antibiotic, 5 nights of Metrodonazole gel. This past week,I went into a friends hot tub and today 2 days later I noticed w thick white odorous discharge. Im pretty sure it s back, I also know it s probably because I went in a hot tub. I have about more than half of the Metrodonazole gel left. Should I take it again for 5 days or go see a specialist?

Hi,
Going for treatment like this is not advisable without proper diagnosis of your condition.
It is advisable to go for vaginal swab testing to know causative factor like fungus or bacteria.
After proper report go for proper medicine course for long time.
Keep local hygiene clean, dry and airy.
