General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Minoxidil will help to regrow hair from existing hair follicles. In some individuals, it will not work.

It is a relatively safe drug and side effects are minimal. The only concern is that it has to be used indefinitely for the best results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
