Is Minoxin Spray Safe To Use To Stop Hairfall?

Hi, I am living in Dubai, and here due to water and weather conditions, I am loosing my hair in the front scalp region, lots of hair fall when i wash them. One of my Doctor friend advised me minoxin spray 7%, I wanna know is it safe to use this spray, and wanna know if there are any side effects to it.? Thanks

Hi, welcome to hcm,
yes, it is safe and also effective in hair control and growth in androgenetic alopecia.
i will advise you to add Tab biotin 10 mg once daily and tab finasteride 1 mg once daily.
you should continue treatment for atleast 6 month for maximum benefit.
side effect of minoxidil is excess hair growth and irritation at application site.
