Is Mirena IUD A Possible Treatment For Heavy Menstrual Bleeding?

Transvaginal us states prominent heterogeneous appearing uterus measures 9.9 x 6.3 x 5.2 cm. Endometrial Canal 4.8mm. Right ovary is 5.2 x 3.9 x 4.4 cm and contains a 4.4 x 3.3 x 3.5 cm complex Mass Left ovary indicates a simple cyst. Was seen in the ER for heavy bleeding which has caused me to be anemic. Is a Marina iud a possible treatment for me? Could the cysts be causing the heavy bleeding? I am 47 years old.
